This palette cleansing appetizer is about as easy as it gets. After eating it in multiple restaurants in Germany, I decided to reproduce the recipe myself.

 

Ingredients:

6 small tomatoes or roma tomatoes

1 cup of diced red onions

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

1/2 teaspoon salt

 

Slice the tomatoes into 1/4 inch slices. Mix the diced onions, vinegar and salt. Top each of the tomato slices with a half tablespoon scoop of the onion mixture and serve.
